What Are Free Fire Fonts?
A Free Fire "font" is not a typeface that Garena ships with the game. It is a nickname assembled from ordinary Unicode characters that happen to look decorative: Balinese and Tibetan punctuation for the ꧁༺ ༻꧂ wings, Japanese katakana and Chinese ideographs for the Manga alphabet (ｱﾚﾑﾘ乇尺), currency signs for the Money style (₱Ⱡ₳ɎɆⱤ), and kanji such as 亗 or メ as tags at either end. The game bundles a limited font, so a symbol either exists in that font and renders crisply in the lobby, or it does not and appears as an empty rectangle above your character in a match. Two honest caveats. Watch out for combining marks
Underlines, strikes and glitch marks are separate invisible characters attached to each letter. In Free Fire they count toward the limit and are frequently stripped or displayed as stray lines, so the clean Manga (ｱﾚﾑﾘ乇尺) or Regal (ƤĹßĚŘ) alphabets are a better base than anything layered.
Keep the plain version searchable
Friends add you by UID or by typing your name into the search box. A name written entirely in Manga letters cannot be found by typing normal letters, so many players keep their real handle plain and put the decoration only in the wings and tags.
